Sounds like, but here we have the project contained in the URI like

• http://issues.joomla.org/tracker/joomla-cms/random and
• http://issues.joomla.org/tracker/jtracker/random

@smanzi could you double check that those links work?

I thought it was a small one, but actually it seems to be quite complicated!

@elkuku - Nikolai, here are my results. Keep in mind that before each test I exit from Firefox and, as it is configured, it cleans all cookies on exit:

1. I go directly to http://issues.joomla.org/tracker/joomla-cms/random. From there on every "Feel Lucky" brings me to a joomla-cms issue
2. I go directly to http://issues.joomla.org/tracker/jtracker/random. Even though I'm visualizing a jtracker issue clicking on Feel Lucky still brings me to a joomla-cms issue
3. I enter through http://issues.joomla.org/tracker/joomla-cms. Feel Lucky brings to joomla-cms
4. I enter through http://issues.joomla.org/tracker/jtracker. Feel Lucky brings me to jtracker issues

So, it seems to me that the behavior is dependent on some cookie which is set up when entering through the main Tracker entry point (and not through the /random link)

Also, I just tested right now, while editing this post, to open a new tab to http://issues.joomla.org/tracker/joomla-cms/random and... I got this: http://issues.joomla.org/tracker/jtracker/4020 which is clearly a joomla-cms issue, but the "path" to it is one of a jtracker issue!!! Router hell here too??

OK, the bug here seems to be that the project from the URI is not set correctly when you are not logged in.

It seems that other functionality that rely on project changes via URI could also be affected. Thanks for reporting this!

I forgot to mention that while I got the last anomaly (the hybrid link to the joomla-cms random issue) I was of course logged in GitHub for editing my post.

I believe that this has been fixed by #689 - not sure if you're still able to test ?
