As an example look at http://issues.joomla.org/tracker/joomla-cms/4508

There is a "Foreign ID" that points to http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker/?action=TrackerItemEdit&tracker_item_id=4505

I would expected it not being there or pointing to the related issue at http://issues.joomla.org/tracker/joomla-cms/4505

Also (and unrelated) it seems the "Preview" function does not works, editing here in http://issues.joomla.org/tracker/jtracker/add, and... I'm asked for a Build number for this issue, which is not Joomla related!

OK, I just figured out that for "build" I had probably should have put "master": sorry it' wasn't that clear...

There seem to be several issues here..

1) The one from the title
This is caused by our (deprecated) logic to parse the [#4505] part of the title, since this was the former practice to mark those issue on Joomlacode.
This behavior will be removed, but anyway you should use the GitHub logic referencing issues using the # prefix from the issue comment or commit messages.

Also, we have a special feature on issues.joomla.org that allows for simple referencing between issues. For JBS members ;)

2) I can confirm that the preview function is currently not working in the issue add view. (I believe that this has been introduced by #326 - @b2z here  )
Could you please open a separate issue here?

3) The "build number" is a CMS feature, has always been hard to understand, and is currently standard for all projects (also "easy"...)

Thanks to all!

So... the "title bug" will soon go away with the last remnants of JoomlaCode, the Preview function has been fixed and the "build" thing was essentially a mistake from me (btw, I see "master" should have been the correct one, but I did put "1", so if someone can and wish, please feel free to fix...).

Have a nice Sunday!
