Right now the tracker displays IMHO a bit to much of what has changed, especially small changes. Especially when doing the changes in multiple steps, there is a lot of space occupied by non-information. I sort of liked the history at the bottom as the old tracker did and not particularly mixed with the conversation.
Anybody feeling the same way?
How about hiding anything that is not a comment

If we keep them inline, I'd make them less prominent like how GitHub handles it. Or the stream only shows activities and we have a slider or tabs or something with "extra" history.

I think we should try to keep the way we display things as close as possible to what GitHub does - to make it easier to switch between both and because I believe that they are doing a really good job.
Maybe we can start to mimic their display (hope we won't get in any license trouble) and limit any information we add to a minimum?
And yes, we definitely need some UI folks in our team.
@vdespa @brianteeman @javigomez please check - improvements were made. Did we solve it?
It looks good from the preview but hard to be certain until it is applied

It can get rather verbose, indeed. The door is still open for folks with UI expertise to come along and help out where us developers aren't as creative
