I am not an expert in this stuff so we need someone more experienced here. Images in the activity are not being scaled and this looks funny/ugly. Checked this at my work (IE8) and at home (IE10) and have the same result:
ie

The same is looking fine on github.com:
ie2

Anyone can help us with it?

Actually I have this problem also with GitHub for Android

I don't know if there's much we can do about that... and I'm pretty unsure if this is a v1.0 requirement :(

I am sure that something we can do because images are scaled well on github.com browsing with IE. So there should be something that we are missing. Agree not a v1.0 requirement, but I labeled this as 1.x, cause this definitely should be fixed :) BTW on Chrome on Android images also are scaled ;)

Could this be related twbs/bootstrap#7369 ?

Looks like :+1: Seems that we should use style="" to scale them. Will try this today :)

This should be really fixed soon, It's been a long time that this bug is there. Hopefully in next version it should be fixed.

@Saurabh1 did the fix that @b2z reference not work? I just dealt with this (on another site) today. My fix was to write some JS to inject the width and height into style for IE10+

@drmmr763 Well I have not tried it , most of the times I had to remove width : auto and height: auto from bootstrap file and sometimes have to add similar to @b2z solution.
My point is we need to fix this asap in next release. I am getting tickets for this almost alternate days.
