User impact
People with low vision or colour-vision deficiencies may not be able to perceive text, controls, focus states, or status indicators reliably.
Remediation plan
Update the shared design tokens, theme styles, and component states so the affected text, icons, indicators, and controls are perceivable in all supported states.
Steps to reproduce
- Open the extension list.
- Locate the commercial badge or dollar icon.
- Measure its text and graphic contrast.
- Repeat in relevant states and backgrounds.
- Observe insufficient contrast.

Expected result
Badge contrast would meet minimum threshold requirements. For both, it is best to use 4.5:1 as the minimum threshold.
Actual result
The icon for Commercial, a white $ on yellow background, and the corresponding full-word badge on the detail page of a plugin do not meet contrast requirements.
