Audit finding

Number of articles per page not visible on small viewports

User impact

Users on zoomed layouts or small screens may lose access to controls, values, or content needed to complete the task.

Remediation plan

Adjust the responsive layout and component behaviour so the relevant content and active values remain visible and operable at small viewports and zoom.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the Atum Articles list view.
  2. Locate the articles-per-page value.
  3. Set the viewport to 320x256 CSS pixels.
  4. Scroll and attempt to operate the control.
  5. Observe that the value or control is not visible or usable.

Version

6.1

Expected result

Number of entries in the table would be preserved irrespective of viewport.

Actual result

At a viewport of 320px wide, the selector of items in the table is compressed in a way to hide the current number. While users can open the element to understand what number is currently selected, it is an unnecessary step. What device were you using?
