Steps to reproduce the issue
In Global Configuration: Log Deprecated API: Yes
Open an article and close it
Expected result
The article should open/close with 1 or 2 sec (in a laragon installation)
Actual result
The article opens/closes in more than 20 sec (in a laragon installation)
System information (as much as possible)
J5.4.0RC1 and J6.0.0RC1

As written in previous comments when you enable Log Deprecated API the Log doing a lot of logging. That the reason of slowdown.
It should be used only for development purpose, never on production.
I closing the issue. Thanks for report anyway.
