For login we use Multi-factor Authentication for superusers, publishers and editors, but not for normal members (Registered)
Session "Edit user profile" has three parts: Edit your profile, Basic settings, Multi-factor Authentication
In "User: options" you can set parameters for showing on/off: Frontend User Parameters, Frontend Language, Change Username
But there is nor parameter for showing on/off; Multi-factor Authentication when MFA is not activated
This means that all normal members see this MFA fields which is only confusing for them

I changed the access level fot the MFA plugin to special…. And this is working. Great !!
Can you delete this tracker please?
