Hello, I was going through this bug and found that it is same with all the fields where calendar is there in other components also and it needs to fixed as there are a lot of publishing areas where it is needed. I have attached few of them.
I would like to work on this issue.

@fgsw Hello, I am working on this issue and I wanted to see whatever changes I have made in code but unable to see it.
I am running the local host using the command "php -S localhost:8000", do i need y=to use another command to see the respective changes in the code ?

1. do not use the internal php server as local host.
2. if you are making changes in the build folder then you will need to run npm i to generate the changed files and populate the media folder with the changes

I went through your original report and also tested this on my local Joomla 5.2.5-dev setup. Based on my testing, I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue—everything seems to be working fine (see the attached screenshot).

Just wanted to clarify a few things:

Are there any specific steps where this issue always occurs?
Was this tested only in 5.2.4, or does it also happen in 5.2.5?
Any console errors or logs that might help track this down?
If you can share more details, I’ll check again and see if I missed anything. Let me know!
