It is a basic (Level A) requirement that The default human language of each Web page can be programmatically determined.
The method used meta http-equiv="content-language" content="de" is specifically marked on mdn as do not use
This PR updates the js so that the language is correctly set on the html element eg <html lang="en-GB">
