@PhilETaylor How are you installing sample data on a fresh install? I just get a console log error when I try to install it
I never installed it on the install, I installed it using the admin area after install - yes that seemed to error but I ignored that error and after page refresh tried again, and it said the data was already installed
Then I went to the frontend, top right of the home page and did a search for anything

Also, are you referring to mod_search or mod_finder?

Ok cheers.
Just taken a look at this and it only appears to be an issue when SEF is enabled.
works fine for me :)

I have sef on
try using the PHP built in server and SEF on:
cd /path/to/joomla && php -S 0.0.0.0:8001
Build | staging | ⇒ | 4.0-dev |
Definitely an issue. Perhaps something to do with DisplayControler.php
I had a mess around with it but couldn't fix.
The option
query is being added to the end of the URL, so maybe the router can't handle that properly.
I have the same problem after the update from 3.8.3 to 3.8.4. Many websites that were working fine, now show an error page "Page not found" or an empty of content page with header and footer but no results and no content.
@impressionestudio this issue is for J4 and nothing to do with your issue
Ops, sorry. I was so frustrated and didn't notice it. Do you want me to delete the comments?
