Looks like we need to change the layout to cope with < pre > < code > and any other non wrapping text

looks ugly.

GitHub seems to display issues inside a div with scrollbars:

overflow: auto; will solve it. But should I add it to the .css or apply a style element? BTW what is the best practice in such cases (I mean applying only one style)?

If you already have a stylesheet, I'd add it there. It helps keep things organized, by them all being in one place, and tidies up the rendered page source. Just my opinion though.
