Once guidelines #256 and #257 are decided, the following tasks are required:
- document these policies on https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/wiki
- retire and redirect all out of date pages on http://docs.joomla.org
- reorganise links and text on http://developer.joomla.org
- write a JCM article outlining the first and next steps in the cutover (for Jan issue)
- write a community.joomla.org article about the changes
- blast social media
