I tried install Joomla 3.5
On step 3 FTP I click on button "Verify FTP Settings" or "Autofind FTP Path"
I was waiting to see some pop-up, but page was reloaded and I see:
{"token":"422352d04b3af4bebd6478ebdae9a9a2","lang":"en-GB","error":true,"header":"Error","message":"The most recent request was denied because it contained an invalid security token. Please refresh the page and try again."}
Linux 3.13.0-36-generic
Apache/2.4.10
PHP/5.5.19
MySQL/5.6.21
I am able to reproduce this issue in Joomla 3.6.0
browser : Firefox 44.0.2
i am not able to reproduce the same issue
browser : google chrome 51.0.2704.106 (64-bit)

This is going to need someone with an environment that uses Joomla's FTP mode in the installation app to fix. Which I don't believe is going to be many individuals to be honest.
If you must use FTP mode, it is normal set and use ftp-setting during
installation.
Anyway there is this button there but it doesn't work.

Looking into.
FTP no longer is an option on the Joomla! Installer for J3.7.2.
Please close @nibra
Yes it is. FTP is only displayed to users who need it. I don't recall the
exact way we detect it, but whether FTP options are displayed is based
totally on us checking the server.

Thanks @babker I'll know how to replicate that now, testing again.
This is no longer an issue in my test. FTP settings tab is shown when Joomla! cannot write files in it's directory. Entered FTP Details click autofind it did, clicked verify it popped up saying Settings correct.
@nibra can we close? @marenkov please feel free to reopen if you can recreate it in J3.7.2 in your specific scenario, then please provide indepth Joomla! setup/hosting environment information/instructions.

Closing this at this time as no longer reproducable. It can always be reopened if required
I have tried it in joomla staging and i m able to reproduce the same issue. If you want to re-create the issue don't give the permission to joomla
installation package.
