Steps to reproduce the issue
- Go to the any list view ( lets say in article list view)
- Select multiple articles and click on edit
- It choose the very first article

I do not agree with this change. I am rather in favor of a message when multiple articles are selected and Edit button is clicked.

While I personally like the idea of hiding buttons until they are active it must be consistent for all buttons not just the edit button
In addition all PR attempting to do this have been consistently rejected -
