• The 1.5 CHANGELOG entry dated 01-Mar-2008 (Alan Langford) reads "Add jexit() global exit function, also for unit test."
• It is absent from the released 1.5.1 package and present in libraries/loader.php of the released 1.5.2 package (22 March 2008).
• It first appears in this repository in the 1.5 branch merge 1138d55 (19 March 2008), without a @since tag.
• The tag was added as @since 11.1 in the 2011 platform move (cb8c4d8) and mechanically rewritten to 1.7.0 in #22607.
