User impact
People with low vision or colour-vision deficiencies may not be able to perceive text, controls, focus states, or status indicators reliably.
Remediation plan
Update the shared design tokens, theme styles, and component states so the affected text, icons, indicators, and controls are perceivable in all supported states.
Steps to reproduce
- Open the "Update Joomla > Upload and Update" flow in Atum.
- Locate the checkbox.
- Inspect unchecked, checked, focus, hover, and disabled states.
- Measure the checkbox boundary and indicator contrast.
- Observe that the controls are practically invisible.

Expected result
Minimum contrast threshold of 3:1 is met for graphical elements.
Actual result
Some checkboxes are barely visible versus their surroundings due to low contrast borders. Here, both in the light mode and in dark mode, the borders are so low contrast that it is barely (in light mode) and almost impossible (in dark mode) to see the checkbox, even without a disability.
