I saw that the editor background didn't follow the dark/light and thought there would be more changes but turns out upmerging should be easy the lines are unrelated
@dgrammatiko As I could see, this PR is identical to PR #46852 for 5.4-dev. And it seems to be a bug fix. So the 5.4-dev PR would be merged anyway all the way up. Any special reason to have a separate 6.1-dev PR? Or did I miss some difference?
Other thing: Don't mind the failing CI checks in this PR here. We currently have a problem in the 6.1-dev branch with them.
