Steps to reproduce the issue

1) Login to backend with an iPhone.
2) Set "Isis" as backend template.
3) Try to access a submenu item, for example "Components - Contacts".

Expected result

i don't see the contact admin page

Actual result

same dashboard page

System information (as much as possible)

Joomla 3.3.6

Device
iphone 6
IOS 8.0.2
Safari or Chrome with same result

I see the first & second !
when i tap on any item the page is reloaded but the content (menu item that i've choosed) does'nt appear
I've found a similar thread here http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker/%3E/?action=TrackerItemEdit&tracker_item_id=31728&start=7300

but i've found a solution.. is it possible that isis template is demaged?

I could not reproduce this issue:

System information:
iPhone 4s - iOS 8.0.2
Checked in both Safari and Chrome.

I just borrowed an iPhone 6 with iOS 8.0.2 and tested.
Still I could not reproduce the issue.

Later i'll record a video using airserver and i'll post here a link to see, but i confirm the issue
I've tested with ipad (so it's not responsive) & ios 8.0.2 and it working fine
I think it's missing a way to switch to not responsive..

I am reopening it based on your video

Please can you retest it on a clean fresh install with no extensions installed. Just to remove the possibility that one of the many extensions you have installed is not causing the issue

I can reproduce this issue.

@blondie63 Is your RSfirewall is updated ?
Or maybe disabled this extension to see if it's changing something (component as well as plugins) ?

Yes, v2.7.0 ! i've also Akeeba Admin Tool latest but i've disabled backend protection..

I've test on fresh install and working fine !
I've discovered this extension as guilty: RSFirewall! Control Panel Module

That one extension is the cause of so many issues
