I create articles in a category.
I then set two of them to active and two to expire.
I would then expect the number counted to be 2 because the other two have expired.
The number, which I discovered through my Yootheme template settings, is actually 4 items.

An issue is already mentioned here, but it has been closed.
However, the problem appears to be in Joomla, as indicated.

Joomla 5.4.1
I would like to find this out, but I don't know how to do it. That's why I'm creating this to hopefully solve this together with you.

@chmst The count is in the frontend.
I use Yootheme, and it has the option to show or hide a section or row based on the number of articles.
And that's not working now.
I contacted Yootheme, and they indicated that it's not working properly in the frontend from Joomla.
The articles in the backend are counted correctly, for example, 2 published and 2 unpublished.
In the frontend, 4 are counted, which is incorrect.

Where do you see the number, in frontend or in backend?
In backend it is correct to see the number of articles, whether they are active at the moment or not.
