Pull Request for Issue #46106

Summary of Changes

  • Updated the post-installation message forum link to point to the correct Joomla 6 forum.
  • Replaced the old Joomla 5.x “New to Joomla!” link with the updated Joomla 6 forum link.

Testing Instructions

  1. Install Joomla 6 using a clean setup.
  2. Complete the installation process to reach the post-installation messages screen.
  3. Verify that the “New to Joomla Forum” link now points to the Joomla 6 forum.

Actual result BEFORE applying this Pull Request

  • The post-installation message contained a forum link pointing to Joomla 5.x “New to Joomla!” forum.

Expected result AFTER applying this Pull Request

  • The post-installation message now contains a forum link pointing to the correct Joomla 6 forum.

@Bodge-IT How have you tested it? The language string is missing the escaping of one double quotes, see my previous review suggestion. I would expect the string not to work right due to this.

Hi Richard, to follow-up, I was testing by clean install the new built build "full install" package. 1st test on the url worked np.

Then it seems the ini file parser was tolerant with the missing backslash.
