Pull Request for Issue #46244 .

Summary of Changes

Remove placeholder workaround for Fancy select field.

It seems in new version the placeholder works fine.

Testing Instructions

Run npm install

And then please follow #46244

However, it does not solve #46212 (but this is another issue and don't think a release blocker)

For #46212 we have #46225 . But maybe there is a better solution. We will see.
