I've seen fixes for this posted, but I have followed the suggestions and updated my PHP to 5.3.13, and I'm still receiving the parse error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONST in /home/###/joomla.elsewares.org/index.php on line 10

I can provide someone from the core team access to my install (including phpinfo) if they email me:

brian[at]elsewares.org

From phpinfo():

Core

PHP Version 5.3.13

Note: I went through the installation script, and everything there worked as expected. Only the root file is giving me the error.

Have you tested on 3.0 stable?

I've tested exhaustively today with PHP 5.3.14 and I cannot replicate this issue.

Hi Phil! :) Thanks for testing!

OK, I'm going to close this one for now. If someone can provide steps to replicate, we'll reopen it.

Cheers
