Additional Comments

In the Joomla admin interface, an error message appears on every page:

"An import map is added after module script load was triggered."

Additionally, when attempting to delete an extension or use the toolbar in any extension, the following errors are encountered:

"Uncaught TypeError: Failed to resolve module specifier "joomla.dialog". Relative references must start with either "/", "./", or "../"."
"joomla-toolbar-button.min.js?623aee:4 Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Failed to resolve module specifier 'joomla.dialog' at HTMLElement.executeTask (joomla-toolbar-button.min.js?623aee:4:1659)."

This issue persists despite disabling custom code and the site runs various extensions including Gridbox, RSForm Pro, Acymailing, Akeeba Backup, JCH Optimize, and Aimy Captchaless Captcha.

I have searched through bug trackers and forums without finding a related solution for these specific errors in conjunction with Joomla 5 including the support forums of all of the various extensions, sadly, cannot find anything.

From experience this sounds like a misconfiguration of jch optimise and you should ask them for support

Dear @brianteeman,

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your input on this matter.

We initially suspected JCH Optimize and attempted to delete the entire package for testing. However, this led us to encounter the third error line.

Surprisingly, the actual culprit was our NordVPN connection. We discovered that all systems with the VPN active experienced these errors across multiple client websites and our own. An employee without VPN could modify Joomla without issues, revealing NordVPN as the source. This is unprecedented in our experience.

I apologize for the confusion. This is clearly not a Joomla-related issue, and I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Thank you once again for your assistance!
