We have 7 occurrences of "can not" but the Oxford dictionary states that we should be using "cannot" as "can not" is only for when you say something like "can not only" or "can not be".
However we have 29 occurrences of the contraction can't which is applicable in both situations so this PR updates them to be consistent with "can't"
