It is simplified indeed, but we lose very important information. I am not in favour of this one.
We should find another solution.
Which information do you think is missing that is essential? This is a tooltip not a manual. In the absence of any other solution ( and this issue has existed for a very long time) I am strongly in favour of committing this.
I do have another solution (to discuss: it would display the tip below instead of above) and I do think it is real important to explain here what kind of automatic alias one can get. Specially the UTF8.
I first have to understand what has changed with this merge as I had a patch before this:
