Steps to reproduce the issue

Create a blog category menu item
Set the blog layout to anything other than the global defaults
Set the intro article article class to anything other than blank

Create another menu item of type menu->system link->menu->item->alias
and select the blog category menu item created before

Do NOT use the menu links Manually type the two urls

Expected result

On the frontend compare both pages they are identical

Actual result

On the frontend compare both pages they are not identical
the original menu item is correct
the alias menu item is not using any of the menu item settings and is just using the article component settings

Update

This is possibly caused by an error in the menu options as the option "redirect" does not work.

When set to No (the default) the menu alias should be the link
When set to Yes the menu should be simply redirected to the original link

Both settings of that option have zero impact

Selecting a template style also has zero impact
