Steps to reproduce the issue

Joomla! 4.1.5 Stable [ Kuamini ] 21-June-2022 14:00 GMT

Good morning !
We can without worries with the media manager transfer an image with an extension ".jpg" but not the same image with an extension ".jpeg".
The most common filename extensions for files using JPEG compression are *.jpg and *.jpeg.

Expected result

Actual result

If you try to upload an image with the extension "*.jpeg",

"Error - error has occurred."

System information (as much as possible)

solved Thanks! my site was created with joomla 1.5 and was gradually updated to version 4.x (sometimes with kernel reinstallations) ... Surely a distant and historical update that forgot the JPEG extension. I add manually. Perhaps an update should automatically add or verify the JPEG extension for very old sites dating from the first versions of Joomla? +++
