[#37874] - Joomla 4 Administrator Sidebar Collapsible Menu Style in the Front End

I would like to create a Sidebar Menu style in the Front End of a Joomla 4 site that looks, feels and behaves similarly to how the current left sidebar Menu of the back end is. Including the option of collapsing the whole Menu to icons only and retain the current sub-menu selection, when expanded again.
Is this a possible feature that could be added in future releases of Joomla 4? I think it would be an excellent addition.

Hello @adricist, thank you for your feature request. I'm sorry that it took so long to give you feedback. Unfortunately I don't see us introducing such a feature, because it is a rather specific thing. However you can create this for your specific website with your own CSS/JS and maybe an override for the mod_menu output. You are welcome to take the code of the backend menu as an inspiration. Since we aren't going to implement this feature, I'm going to close this issue.
