Why you mean there are no changes? in this PR are 30 files changed

if the ini doesnt change then you dont need to change the version of the xml.

The installations files mirrors the CMS version and this is 4.0.1. They are always updated, at least for en-GB in the bump version script.

We didnt do that in Joomla 3.

We no longer allow (or depend) on the translator to update the version. Only a limited subset is allowed to edit in the xml file: https://github.com/joomla/core-translations/blob/main/Configurations/Crowdin-J4-Installer.yml

That's the reason it will automatically updated with the cms version.

I found and i'm correcting many errors and adding some new strings in Italian translation on Crowdin, but i see that someone have to approve my edits.
There are some BIG bugs like this that could be nice to resolve for 4.0.1
