This is indeed expected as we use searchtools.
In some cases, we may even have more than one of these fields which are NOT in the <fields name="filter"> i.e. not proposed by Fiter Options.
This can be closed imho

It is possible. Here when we have only one of these fields.
But it will force the bar to be faster displayed on multiple lines when window size is reduced... which is also ugly...

I reported this as well and was told it was designed and meant to be like this....
