Thanks for the tracker. I've updated it with testing instructions and set to pending.
Personally I think the empty column should be removed as it is bad HTML style. However I don't like the resulting whitespace between the levels and the IDs.

I suggest to change the ID column width to
width="50%"<th width="50%" class="nowrap center hidden-phone">
this will display the id more to left and will be good html at the same time

I think the empty column is there intentional so the ids aren't on the far right side with that much white space between.
If you think it's better moved to the right, please open an tracker item in our issue tracker (http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker/?action=TrackerItemBrowse&tracker_id=8103) and reference this PR there and the item back here.
