Having created a multilingual site using the language filter plugin I'm experiencing a redirect loop when logging in to the frontend.

The closest I have come to fixing the issue is enabling "Remove URL Language Code" in the language filter plugin settings. However, when I do this, the language switcher module stops displaying the list of available language.

I've tried disabling SEO URLs, changing the login module's redirection page from "Default" to something specific and disabling "Automatic Language Change". None of them make any difference.

I'm using Joomla! 3.1.5 and I don't have any third-party plugins installed apart from the Welsh language.
