Hi!
I have tried to find the answer but my google-foo has failed me. So I´ll ask here.
- What happens exactly if I set the session handler from database to none? Do I keep handling the session trough php? Will user log-in stop working?
- Will the queries related to the table session stop?
- If the answer to this question is yes, what are the advantages on using the table?
Joomla 2.5.8, excuse me if the question is not appropiate here.

Thanks for reporting this. At this time we are only using github as the place to submit code fixes so I am closing the report here. The actual reporting of issues and testing fixes is still taking place on Joomlacode.
As it has been some time since you opened this issue can you please confirm that it is still valid with the current Master or Joomla 3.2 beta.
