[#16732] - Menu disappears after joomla update

When updating joomla from 3.6.5 to 3.7 all but the home menu in the main menu disappears from the front end. The menu not only disappears in the front end, but it's also trashed in the admin? Except for the home menu, all menus end up in the trash?
I don't expect the menu to disappear after update
