Pull Request for Issue #16305 & #16027 .
Summary of Changes
Refactoring of the sidebar menu. Visually there is little change (minor transition change). Resolves some issues and uses a simpler CSS logic.
@brianteeman @coolcat-creations Also resolves the disappearing icon issue mentioned yesterday.
Testing Instructions
Apply patch and navigate sidebar. Ensure no issues exist.
