Summary of Changes
Adds custom fields support for categories in contacts and articles.
Testing Instructions
- In the back end go to Content -> Fields
- Change the contex to Category (first image above)
- Click on New
- Define a title
- Click Save
- Go to Content -> Categories
- Edit the Uncategorised category
- In the tab Fields set a value for the new created field
- Create a new menu item Articles -> Category List and select the Uncategorised category
- Create a new menu item Articles -> Category Blog and select the Uncategorised category
- On the front end, open the new menu item
Expected result
The Fields tab appears when editing a category. On the front end, the fields will be displayed in the list menu item.

Side bar menu always goes to article fields, it is bit confusing. You click fields in sidebar menu, change to Categories in dropdown, add your fields, and when you come back, it again shows Article fields. Maybe dropdown selection should be remembered in user state (like in modules manager for admin vs. site modules), or separate sidebar menu items should be present.
