[#11727] - FIX - Page navigation "Featured Articles" BUG

Hello,
I've got a issue with the featured articles.
In this page "index.php?option=com_content&view=featured" i've ordered the articles manually.
The Featured article View in my page in the website show's the same order. That's great.
But if i want to navigate thru the featured articles, the order is not the same as i have set manually in the backend. Also checked the "Options" in index.php?option=com_content&view=featured and the Featured articles here are OK set.
Short: Prev and Next featured article navigation does not match with the manually ordered articles in the Backend.
Strange fact is that a featured articles menu-item (blog) is showing the correct order as the backend. But when you click on a article, and then the nextone the ordering is gone.
Steps to reproduce the issue
- Make a few articles and make them featured
- Here: index.php?option=com_content&view=featured you can manually order the articles to test the menu-item.
- Create a featured menu-item (blog) and make the article order featured
- Now you can look at the page you've made. The article are displayed in the same order as in the backend.
Expected result
- When you "Read more.." the ordering is the same as in the backend is set manually
Actual result
- When you "Read more.." the ordering is gone. That's not what i want. It's the above version how it suppose to work.
System information (as much as possible)
Joomla! 3.6.2
php 5.6.22
db 5.5.48
Additional comments
Can anyone address this issue, or explain why it's working like it is?

If I remember correctly the ordering of the content in the "blog" or
"featured" pages is unrelated to the page navigation

I tested my featured ordered articles in the Article view when i drag them. The ordering is exactly the same as the article pagination PREV/NEXT. But when i do the same in the Featured article view the ordering is not adapted in the the article pagination PREV/NEXT when i drag my article in a different order. I find it just so handy to do that in my Featured article view, but i does not work their.
My test is done with a fresh installation and fake information.
Is there a way you can reproduce my findings yourself so you can seen the same results?
Or i can Send you a link of my test, with a temp. login ?
