I found a bug on joomla 3.6
If I create an entry with type Alias menu item menu and put the alias I get (with the old version of Joomla instead it puts an alias automatically type the date and time:
It is ok but first put the alias automatically, not anymore?
On the user side it was better before? Now an average user (forgive me but I have an advanced user) does not know what to put, before it was automatic and seocndo me was better, also because what he writes them being an item alis has no effect on the site's url, and therefore useless, or I'm wrong?
I can confirm the Issues, no more date and time :(
It is deliberate to remove the date and time - it is not a bug - it was a
feature request
See #9980

Excuse my ignorance brianteeman but why one should write by hand (given that no good would automatically because the error message) as an alias that is useless? since the url comes epresa the menu item "original"?
thank you for your explanation

An automatic alias will always be good UNLESS you have another menu item at
the exact same level of the menu with the same name. When do you ever have
that?

Yes, but we assume that being a "copy" of another page if it has a different url you have a duplicate contenuo and the search engine is not good. If I understood not bad if you do as you say you will give the ability to create duplicate content

@jeckodevelopment If you do it with joomla 3.6 does not create the alias you automatically, has also confirmed @AlexRed
Maybe you can switch to speaking in Italian Luca as I believe what I wrote
has been lost in translation
Come dice @brianteeman ti scrivo in italiano @jeckodevelopment così magari mi spiego meglio.
I am closing this as expected behaviour
(It is beyond me why someone would ever create an alias with the same name as another menu item on the exact same level)

The issue is this. Before 3.6 when you created a menu typw alias then it was always given an alias of the date. This was a problem when you had a submenu or breadcrumbs and this date was in the url. Now the alias is generated just as it would for any other menu item.
You cannot have two items with the same alias at the same level. Thats what the error message is saying (at least it is in english I hope the italian is not a bad translation).
If the menu type alias is not at the same level or does not have the same title then there is no problem
The only scenario that you will ever see that error message is if you are creating a menu alias to a menu item called Contact at the same level.
I cannot see why you would ever have two menu items with the same name at the same level
(Note this restriction applies to all menu items not just alias)
Not a bug. It is the intended behaviour that a menu type Alias now gets a
real alias and not the date and time.
What you are seeing in the error message is that you already have a menu
item with the same alias
