Maybe a new 3.0.0 Beta 5 release should be made which includes latest changes related to schema update SQL scripts so patch tester can be installed on 3.9.6 and current 4.0-dev? Currently I need an own, patched zip package for that.

FWIW my intention was to do an update after this iteration of the template landed. And well, life happened and I'm really finding it hard to justify time coding for Joomla right now. So if someone wants to do the template changes, I've got no issue spending 10 minutes packaging a release.
