I update Joomla to version Joomla! 3.5.1 Stable [ Unicorn ] 05-April-2016 22:45 GMT
I am using a postgresql database.
UPdate with no error messages.
An error is reported but afterwards Joomla claims it is now upto date.

According to the log the old version is 3.5.0
In the log file there is no report of an error. Error only appeared on the screen.

I cannot update again as Joomla now reports it is upto date. According to the log file nothing went wrong the error only appeared on the screen.

You may have a similar extension that is causing this
e.g.
disable the "System - google maps" plugin , and try updating again
and "fixing" the DB in extensions manager

unable to reproduce upgrading from 3.4.8 to 3.5.x ,
if i remember well when you install 3dp extensions the id field of the extension table should start from 10000 the id less than 10000 are reserved to the joomla core
