Steps to reproduce the issue
I just checked out 3.5-dev branch from github, reporting 3.5.6-dev on the main control panel. Navigation to System -> System Information in the back end logs
[20-Jan-2016 23:40:11 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined index: dbconnectioncollation in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/j35/administrator/components/com_admin/views/sysinfo/tmpl/default_system.php on line 60
to the error_log.
Expected result
No logging of information to error_log.
Actual result
Error notice logged to error log about missing dbconnectioncollation.
System information (as much as possible)
- Joomla 3.5.6-dev checked out from github branch 3.5-dev
- php 7
- MAMP

This can be disregarded. I just tested against staging and all was fine. I was using the wrong branch.
