We don't change anything in the libraries/vendor folder as they come from composer. It would be overwritten next time composer is run.
As for the indexmaker.php, it is already deprecated and will be removed with J4. We don't use it anymore. So it doesn't make much sense to change anything there.
Closing this PR due to this reasons. Thanks anyway!
