Joomla! Content (com_content) views "Featured" and "Category," when the system triggers onContentPrepare, provide only intro text.
But many "Content Plugins" need more than the intro text. So I made a few changes, and now the system provides full object.

I agree with you Jonathan. I see the discussion about Joomla! Articles ( com_content ) and onContentPrepare is not over. It will be great if we find a solution because that issue has been reported a year ago.
