[#5990] - Menú item alias to menú external url is not working

Steps to reproduce the issue

  • Create a menú item url, called "External", pointing to http://joomla.org
  • Create a menú item alias, pointing to "External"

Expected result

  • A correct redirection

Actual result

System information (as much as possible)

Joomla 3.3.6
index.php removed from url

I can confirm the issue.

OK. I created a small PR #5995 to fix this issue. Please test it when you have time.
