Steps to reproduce the issue

0 i have j3.3.6
1 create a custom module
2 change tag value in advanced tabs (for h1 or other)
3 in front title is on h3

What is the template? Can you replicate this with protostar as this can be
overridden in the template

This isn't yet supported by the module chrome in 3.3.6. It will work with 3.4.0 due to #3760 being merged :wink:

Btw: You can change the module style (chrome) to html5. That one should work in 3.3.6.
