Steps to reproduce the issue

1) add new user group "test" and "test2"
2) add new Access Levels "test" and "test2"
3) add user "test" and assigned to "test"
4) add user "test2" and assigned to "test2"
5) create new article "test" and "test2"
6) Go to mainmenu - create new item "test" - Articles » Single Article -> test, Access -> test
7) create new item "test2" - Articles » Single Article -> test2, Access -> test2

Expected result

That user test only can see the item "test" and not "test2"

Actual result

The user can see all items

Hi @810, did you assign the usergroup test and test2 exclusively to the access levels test and test2? If you also assigned public or some other group to the access level, that would explain your situation...

yes, the "test" level has "Registered" and "test" groups.
Without "Registered" its working.

But the menu item is set only to "test" level, why can Registered can see all items then, i haven't set to "Registered"

An access level is not equal to a user group. If you have the access level assigned to both the test group and the Registered group and the user is member of Registered, he can see the content of the test Access level.
