Compare the "New", "Edit" etc buttons on top of the screen on the following pages:
Content > Article Manager
Content > Category Manager
Content > Featured Articles
Menus > Main Menu
I would like to have the buttons on consistent places.
Order of buttons:
Article Manager: Articles
New Edit Publish Unpublish Featured Archive Check In Trash Batch
Category Manager: Articles
New Edit Publish Unpublish Archive Check In Trash Batch Rebuild
Article Manager: Featured Articles
New Edit Publish Unpublish Remove Archive Check In Trash
Menu Manager: Menu Items
New Edit Publish Unpublish Check In Trash Home Rebuild Batch
I'll create patches to have the buttons in a more consistent order:
Article Manager: Articles
New Edit Publish Unpublish Trash Check In Archive Featured Batch
Category Manager: Articles
New Edit Publish Unpublish Trash Check In Archive Rebuild Batch
Article Manager: Featured Articles
New Edit Publish Unpublish Trash Check In Archive Remove
Menu Manager: Menu Items
New Edit Publish Unpublish Trash Check In Home Rebuild Batch
I'll create a patch for each of these so that they can be tested more easily.
PR for Buttons in Article Manager: Articles: #4964

Why Archive after Check In?
Why Trash before Archive?
For me Check In, Batch, Rebuild are additional features that are used just sometimes and should be at the end.
I fail to understand the logic proposed.
If anyhting has to be done, it is to push Trash to the end, not moving the others
In the current views the Archive, Check In, Trash, Batch, Rebuild
are not consistently on the same position.
I tried to reorder the buttons so that website administrators could expect them at the same position in every of those 4 views.
All the 4 views have these buttons: New, Edit, Publish, Unpublish, Trash, Check In
I grouped those together to the left.
Archive, Rebuild, Batch are used often but not everywhere.
I tried to group those together to the right.
The buttons that are unique for some of the views, like Featured & Home, are in the middle.

Disagree with the regrouping, agree on consistant order.
I understand all your concerns & have redone some of the patches:
in my new patches only [Trash] will be moved to the right.

There is a logic in the buttons. They are grouped based on their
functionality which is why published, unpublished and featured are together
