[#48491] - Numeric Tags Do Not Work - J v5.4.8

If I create any tags and assign to articles, clicking them generate a 404 error. Any other named tag works when clicked. I have Tags -> List All Tags menu item published.

I need it to work with just years because of a previous site alias to these tags :(

if you create a menu item for the tag then it will work (the menu item does not have to be displayed in the menu)

Confirmed working when creating the single tag menu item. Can we address this in J v6?

Glad it worked for you - I suspect that the answer will be that creating the menu item is the desired behavour but maybe I am wrong and someone will look into this further
i might be wrong but i think i had this problem myself once before and i "resolved" it by changing the alias of the tag to year-2026
