Audit finding
Best practice finding: Multiple useless buttons
User impact
Not strictly an accessibility issue, but causes friction in the user experience.
Remediation plan
Remove unnecessary UI components and ensure each control has a distinct purpose.
Steps to reproduce
1. Open the MFA captive view.
2. Navigate all buttons with keyboard and screen reader.
3. Record each name, role, and action.
4. Activate the apparently redundant buttons.
5. Observe unclear, duplicate, or functionless controls.
6.1
Controls have a distinct purpose and function.
There are multiple buttons without purpose in the interface:
Desktop web (320x256 CSS pixel viewport), mobile
Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari

Yes it can be brought up in a 320x256 CSS pixel device emulation on desktop but will clarify. Thanks for pointing that out.
you have written that this is desktop but the screenshot (and description) are mobile
